Stephanie Gibbons thinks she's finally found her perfect match. Her new partner, Isaac, is wealthy and spoiling her with the life she’s always wanted. When he proposes, Stephanie is sure her future is secure—until her bank account is emptied, Isaac disappears, and a mysterious man starts following her.

Private investigator Keith Hendricks has been tracking Isaac across the eastern seaboard, where he’s left a trail of betrayed and defrauded women. When Keith confronts Stephanie, he’s unsure if she’s involved in the scheme or another target. But their connection is undeniable. As they team up to bring Isaac to justice, Stephanie starts to wonder if what she’s found with Keith might be worth more than anything money can buy.
