    P>About the Author: Margaret Eldridge is a mother, a grandmother, a teacher, an actor, a singer, a reader, a copy editor and the author of New Mountain, New River, New Home? The Tasmanian Hmong. She has taught English as a second language, and provided support and care for numerous refugees and migrants for over forty years. In 2007, she was awarded the AM for services to international students, migrants and refugees. She is a loving mother of four children and a caring grandmother of eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. She migrated to Tasmania in 1964 from the UK. She has numerous friends in Hobart and worldwide. She has written many jingles, some of which are here in print. She wishes to make people smile and to raise funds for various causes that are dear to her heart. This book captures some of the special times in her life and the lives of her friends. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies (TESOL) and a Master of Arts, all from the University of Tasmania and an Honorary degree in Education from Roehampton University, UK. She lives in Hobart with her two faithful dogs. Feature stories and articles about her achievements have appeared in the Mercury, the University of Tasmania Alumni Magazine, the ABC news etc.Hien Minh Thi Tran (Minh Hien) is an author, an educator and a researcher. She loves to record life experiences and to capture the beauty and happiness of life through books. She was selected to participate in the 2022 Queensland Writers Centre (QWC) longlisted Publishable manuscript development program, the 2021 Fellowship & Access Manuscript Development initiative through the QWC, the 2019 Hardcopy National Professional Development Program to write her memoir. She worked as an engineer, an IT consultant, a systems accountant and a systems manager. While working, she studied for eight qualifications in the fields of Engineering, Accounting, Commerce, Management, Arts and Education. She holds a Master of Higher Education, a Master of Arts in Writing, a Master of Commerce, a Master of Engineering Science, a Graduate Diploma in Management, a Graduate Conversion Course in Accounting and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, all from Australian universities. She is a qualified member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants. She is featured in the 2008 Whos Who in Tasmania. She has presented academic papers at international conferences and published research papers in international journals in the fields of education, engineering, computing, accounting and management since 1989.Dr Farshid Anvari is a researcher, an engineer and an educational consultant. He loves to record life experiences and to capture the beauty and happiness of life through books. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy in Computing, a Graduate Diploma of Information Technology, a Graduate Diploma of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery. He is a co-inventor of Healthy Me, an online research platform to support consumer health decision making.
