In the Spirit, Susan Taylor's inspirational monthly column, is one of the most popular features in Essence(R) magazine. After more than two and a half decades, it continues to be the first place many readers go to for insight and encouragement in meeting life's challenges. Bravely sharing the intimacies of her personal history and her heart in what she has called her public diary. Susan has wrestled with many of the issues that often pin us to a painful place and keep us from getting up and getting on with our lives. She has shown us how to get beyond obstacles and obstacle illusions and offers wise counsel on letting go of baggage that often burdens us with anger, guilt and self-doubt.

All About Love draws from the breadth of writings Susan Taylor has shared with her millions of readers since her column first appeared in Essence(R). In this collection, she has gathered personal favorites and those of Essence(R) readers. Many are expanded. Shedding the old, dead skin of anger, bitterness and regret, forgiving ourselves and others, opening our hearts fully to love, and striving to live in harmony with the whole of life are just a few of the themes explored in these inspirational writings.

All About Love is all about relationships, about active caring and our commitment to personal transformation and social change, to strengthening our families and communities, to wealth building, and the commitment to justice and sustaining all God's children. This long-awaited treasury of writings is about keeping strong our faith in God in the face of all challenges.
