This new album from one of Country Musics most respected female entertainers combines some of Norma Jeans previous hit records including I Cried All The Way To The Bank Heaven Help The Working Girl and even Game of Triangles. Originally recorded by Norma Jean, Bobby Bare and Liz Anderson, this version of Game of Triangles pairs Norma Jean up with fellow Heart of Texas Recording Artists Amber Digby and Justin Trevino. Long time admirer and Irelands King of Country Music, Daniel ODonnell and Norma Jean added a very special spin to Couple More Years. Norma Jean is truly one of my favorite singers, ODonnell said. She is such a lady and it was indeed an honor to have the opportunity to record with her. Norma Jeans long time friend and fellow Wagonmaster Buck Trent is featured throughout the album on his electric banjo. That instrument would help to define the Norma Jeans signature sound while working with Porter Wagoner and recording for RCA Records. Trent even lends his harmony help to Columbus Stockade Blues. Norma Jean chose to record some of her favorite standards while adding her personal touch to each performance including My Babys Gone Satin Sheets I Cant Stop Loving You Wabash Cannonball I Never Promised You A Rose Garden and Today I Started Loving You Again. Norma Jean Aged To Perfection was produced by Justin Trevino and recorded at the Heart of Texas Recording Studio in Brady, Texas. The musicians include Jake Hooker on upright bass, Jim Loessberg on drums and steel guitar, Hank Singer on fiddle, Charlie Walton on lead guitar, T. Bonta on piano, Randy Lindley on rhythm guitar, and Justin Trevino on rhythm guitar. Trevino, Amber Digby and Buck Trent add haromony. Norma Jean is such an important part of Country Musics history, Heart of Texas Records President Tracy Pitcox said. She was seen each week by millions on the most watched Country Music television show at the time, sold millions of records, toured all over the world and is still entertaining her fans today.
